Experiment
Records.
These are documented observations from pushing Heroes of Hammerwatch II far beyond ordinary progression. They are records—not promises, official limits, or instructions—and may change between game versions.
This page records what happened in NateBera's game. Treat the numbers as evidence from one extreme save state, not as a confirmed universal cap.
Record 01 · progression anomaly
The level 3,932 XP wall.
At level 3,932, the experience bar continued accumulating XP but stopped producing another level. The displayed experience rose far beyond 100%—shown here at approximately 1.15 billion of 90.32 million, or 1,275%—while the character remained level 3,932.

- 01Leveling appears to stop
The character remains at level 3,932 even after earning enough XP for multiple additional levels.
- 02Experience still accumulates
XP is not frozen. The stored amount and percentage continue increasing beyond the normal 100% threshold.
- 03The interface shows a higher level-cap figure
The tooltip displays “Level cap: 4385,” yet the observed character did not advance past 3,932. That mismatch may indicate a bug, another hidden limit, or an extreme-value calculation issue.
- 04Status: unresolved
This is the highest level NateBera has reached so far. More testing is needed before calling level 3,932 a definitive cap.
What this means: if your XP percentage climbs above 100% without a level-up at this range, the XP is still being recorded—the level transition itself appears to have stopped. Back up your profile before experimenting with extreme progression.

Automatic roster rotation.
This method selects a chosen position in the multiplayer roster. That character becomes the most recently used top-left character, shifting the earlier cards by one position. Repeating the process makes the chosen position contain a different character each cycle, granting one NG per cycle across the selected group.
Select any rotation endpointChoose position 3, position 5, the final slot, or another group size.
- 01Why the first attempt failed
The old script reused the calibrated final-slot position in both multiplayer and Singleplayer. After joining embera, the chosen character had already moved to top-left, so clicking the final slot locally selected the wrong character.
- 02The working fix
The multiplayer join uses the saved rotation location. After leaving and relaunching, the local Singleplayer character screen always selects automatic top-left. That second top-left selection ensures the same character walks through the exit and receives the NG level.
- 03Choose the character mode
Press F4. Choose 1 for Automatic top-left or 2 for Rotation location.
- 04Choose the rotation size
In Rotation mode, hover over the multiplayer roster position that ends the group and press Ctrl + Alt + 3. Position 3 rotates the first three characters, position 5 the first five, and the final position the entire roster.
- 05Calculate repeats
Total cycles = included characters × NG wanted per character. For three characters gaining 10 NG each, choose 30 cycles with F7.
- 06Return to normal mode
Press F4 again and choose 1 · Automatic top-left.
Release status: roster rotation has been confirmed working and is included in the main NateBera NG Ascension download.
